CaptureUX Feature Overview

CaptureUX software runs on a dedicated Windows 10 laptop that your company owns and that your IT group manages. All data and videos are stored on the CaptureUX PC.
Audio and video are recorded using USB devices that are connected to the CaptureUX PC and are stored on the CaptureUX PC in MP4 format.
Moderator can:
  • take notes during the study
  • edit notes post study
  • extract video highlights
  • create findings.
Observers can take notes in real time by connecting to the CaptureUX PC via a web page that it hosts. Notes are stored on the CaptureUX PC.
Participant's desktop, face, and voice are recorded using dedicated capture devices and cameras which connect to the CaptureUX PC.
In-person or remote participants are supported. For remote, simply share the participant's computer using your company's approved online meeting service. Remote observers can join the meeting and observe.
Participants work with task materials and surveys that you provide.
HTML reports in CaptureUX include: Notes • video links • highlights • findings.
System Requirements: For best results, the following minimum system requirements are recommended. Ovo Studios makes no claims about performance of systems that do not meet these minimum specifications.

  • Microsoft Windows 10
  • Intel Core i7 or Core i5 with integrated graphics and Intel QuickSync Technology. To see if your PC's Intel CPU has QuickSync, you can search by processor type on Intel's Product Specifications site.
  • 6 GB RAM
  • 32 GB hard drive space per 8-hour study, 7600 RPM drive.

In real-world testing, systems with lesser capabilities have been shown to work. You can test your system by requesting a CaptureUX trial and seeing if it works.

Pricing for Licensing and Support
