This graph indicates the percentage of problems encountered by 24 of the 100 survey respondents with 2-5 years of usability tenure in an organization while engaging with development or management groups prior to usability activities.  Resistance rose from 30.2% for those with less than 2 years of usability tenure to 58.3% for those with 2-5 years of usability tenure. 

The majority of respondents indicated that they faced the following problems while engaging with an organization:

• Resistance to usability activities (58.3%)
• Unawareness of the value, methods, and processes of usability activities (33.3%)
• Time constraints by management and development teams (16.7%)
